Apologies, this post was meant to go out yesterday but my not so super computer was playing up.
So it is officially the last day of the first week of a new year – 2015! I am still 3 pound heavier (the same weight I mentioned on new years day) but I intend for tat to be gone by hopefully next week. I had a moment of reflection this morning comparing my weigh in notes from the start to the present day.
I have lost just over 11KG in weight.
My BMI has dropped by 5.1.
My body fat percentage has dropped by 10.6%.
In the last 3 months (as I cant find my measurements from the very beginning) my hips have decreased by 4 inches, my waist by 3.5 inches, the largest part of my tummy by 5.5 inches and my thighs by approx. 3 inches each.
As much as I would love the weight to be dropping off and I see results immediately, I have re educated myself as I know if this happens you can put it all back on just as quick. It’s a marathon not a sprint.
Also you will be pleased to know one of my new years resolutions was to try something new… last night I did just that. I went to a military fitness boot camp. I was super nervous but I went, I participated and I waddled home covered in mud from head to toe. I am not going to spout that I loved every second of it because I didn’t, it was tolerable. They made me run which is my worst nightmare but I did it and I will go again next week and the week after before I decide if I hate it or not because I have learnt that you need to give things a proper chance before throwing in the towel.
