Week 10 weigh in…

So it was inevitable after my strop last week refusing to weigh in that my results were not going to be great… but this week I took the plunge and the damage is I have put 4lbs on. I am not going to make an excuse such as it could be water retention etc it’s me eating too much and drinking too much over bank holiday and not being as focused as I can be.

So yeah it could be worse I suppose, I aim to try and get 3lb off in the next couple of weeks to get me back down into the next stone bracket. I am lacking motivation at the moment but trying to perceiver as much as possible. I have started my September challenges so lets see what this month brings… Fingers crossed positive things!

Week 1 (02/07/2014) – -3lb

Week 2 (09/07/2014) – -3lb

Week 3 (16/07/2014) – -2lb

Week 4 (23/07/2014) – -1lb

Week 5 (30/07/2014) – -2lb

Week 6 (06/08/2014) – -2lb

Week 7 (13/08/2014) – +1lb

Week 8 (20/08/2014) – -5lb

Week 9 & 10 (03/09/2014) – +4lb

Total – 13lbs

  1. to quote Nancy at My Years of Sweat… you don’t need motivation you just need to get on and do it 🙂

I mean that in the nicest possible way! You know what to do, and you know you can do it, and you can do it even if you don’t feel like it… Motivation is one of those things that comes and goes, the important thing is to do it even when you don’t feel like it 😀

motivation will return, and you will feel even better because you know you kept going when you didn’t feel like it 😀

    • Thank you… This comment will definitely stick with me, very wise words! You’re always lovely so I know you mean it in a nice way. I am just being lazy at the end of the day, but last night I did go for a swim even though I didn’t particularly feel like it but I know as soon as I see some positive results again I will be focused

      • exactly 🙂

motivation is lovely but noone in the world can be motivated all the time 🙂

the best motivator is to see positive results and you know you can get them 🙂

doing things when you don’t feel like it is really hard, but much more gratifying in the end!

this is a very helpful conversation by the way, I have myself scheduled to run at lunchtime today…and I really don’t feel like it…but I really have to do it anyway, especially after telling you this 😀

      • Yes I agree seeing results really spurred me on and if I can get through this month and compare results/pics/measurements and see some positiveness then I am sure that will spur me on no end!

Yes get yourself out there, like you say when you have done it you will feel much better and of course you have to practice what you preach!

      • yeah, I had one that refused to answer any of my questions directly to me, he addressed all his answers to my husband even if I asked them…

apart from his partonising declaration that I would like the seat trim on this one…

we took a car for a test drive and kept it out for about an hour 10 mins before closing time on a sunday…then said no thanks and went home!

  2. Every day is a new day. 8^>

So easy to say, and so difficult to do. But you HAVE shown you can do it, so focus on that. Good luck. 🙂
