Week 4 – Weigh in!

So I am on to week 4! Who would of thought it hey… week 4 and I’m still here and not even had a meltdown blog yet about how I am such a failure haha! Today as I have done for the past 4 Wednesdays I have hopped on the scales and again had a positive result when I was actually expecting a negative one, last week was a bit of an up and down week and I made some pretty rubbish choices food wise and admittedly I did no exercise (apart from a 6 hour deep house clean) so that’s one July goal out the window but on the other hand another 1lb down so that is a total of 9lb in 4 weeks! Not much but I am super happy it is a loss and not a gain!

Week 1 (02/07/2014) – -3lb

Week 2 (09/07/2014) – -3lb

Week 3 (16/07/2014) – -2lb

Week 4 (23/07/2014) – -1lb

Total – -9lb

Pretty motivated now and eager to sort out last week and get myself doing some exercise and making some better choices!

Good luck to anyone else on this whole lifestyle changing journey and lets hope this is a good one for all of us! << feeling the love today haha!

  1. Awesome awesome!!
1lb is certainly better than a gain!

I have been at the same weight for the whole of the last 4 weeks…despite doing Insanity…

    Keep up the good work!

      • I have lost just over 2cm (so about an inch) from my waist since the start of insanity 😀

I should measure more but I forget!

I am sure you will keep it up 🙂

      • That’s brilliant I think inches mean more than scales some times, I think measuring yourself once a month is best you get to see more results, keep me posted I might even give myself a measure at some point haha

      • 😀 you should!

I agree it is more important than the scale!

I also go by which of my trousers now fall off when they used to me tight!

      • scales are pretty awful! yes that is a fab way there isn’t a better feeling than putting on something that was once tight and it fits perfectly! I am determined to get into some jeans for the winter months as I practically live in leggings and they are awful!

      • I like leggings under dresses and skirts, although I don’t wear those very often!

I have a confusing array of jeans which fit me range from those that don’t fit me any more to those that don’t fit me yet…I don’t actually think I have a pair that fit me well…

      • I normally wear them with oversized tee’s (jersey type tops or jumper dresses) and I swear by blazers in the winter smart/casual ones! I also have one pair of jeans.. black jeans! may as well be leggings but they are tight at the moment!

I know your problem! even when I was slim could I find a perfectly fitting jean? nope! I have short legs like really short haha, and I have always had ‘thunder thighs’ as my mum liked to call them haha! I don’t think they take into account every body is literally different but as soon as I feel confident enough I will make it my mission to find some!

      • haha I have short legs too so have the same problem…

and even when I was slim, my legs were oddly proportioned due to being so sort…same reason I can’t wear knee high boots!!

      • mine too…apart from new rocks which are quite wide and stop just below the calf muscle.

even when I was a size 12 I couldn’t wear knee high boots. my calves are massive and the muscle but starts lower than it does on people with average length legs…I am resigned not to wear them!
